The Dogzone

12 weeks of age.

Spayed or neutered by 7 months.

Current on all shots including Rabies, DHLPP & Bordetella (kennel cough). Up to date records to be provided prior to first day of attendance. (We require the Bordetella vaccine on an annual basis BUT strongly recommend that you vaccinate every 6 months - please consult your vet).

All necessary information forms to be completed prior to first day of attendance.

All dogs to be on a flea and tick prevention program during the April-October season.

Acceptance to daycare requires an initial "doggy interview" which allows us to meet your dog and for you to tour the facility. Your dog will then be required to attend at least 1 half day of scheduled daycare to ensure that he can adjust well to a pack environment. (Upon full admittance your dog is welcome to attend regularly). Interviews are scheduled weekday evenings at 6pm and can be booked by calling (802) 655-7377 or emailing us at thedogzone@verizon.net.

All dogs in attendance are on permanent probation. We reserve the right to dismiss any dog at any time if their behavior becomes unsuitable for a daycare environment.

We do not require regular attendance BUT strongly recommend that your dog attends at least once a week, so that it becomes part of their normal schedule.

The DogZone staff is committed to the safety of your dog. We take all necessary precautions to provide a safe and healthy environment but unfortunately minor injuries may occur, like scratches or tooth marks. Dogs will be dogs and we ask all our clients to be aware & understand this before attending daycare. The DogZone does not accept aggressive dogs or dogs who are territorial of food, toys or staff members.

All lunch boxes or bags must be marked clearly with the dogs name.

Any medication required to be given during the daycare visit must be clearly marked with the dogs name and instructions for administering.
