600 square feet of outdoor play yard completely enclosed by a 6' privacy fence.
4' interior fencing divides play spaces into a large play zone, a smaller "peanut zone" for small breeds and new puppies, a quite area for timeouts and individual rest periods & a lunch pen. (Please note that small breeds and puppies often play with the large breeds unless separation is requested by the owners)
Industrial sized ceiling fans and heaters provide a comfortable climate controlled space. Large garage door allows plenty of fresh air during the spring-summer season.
Fresh cold water, premium chicken strip treats, Kong balls, play gym equipment, wading pools and elevated cot beds are all provided to make your pets visit more enjoyable.
For safety reasons, all dogs enter and exit the front lobby leashed and play in the play area collarless.
A two-way radio is provided in the front lobby for clients to contact the DogZone staff upon their arrival for pickups and dropoffs. (Sorry no parents are allowed into the play areas during business hours.)
6 doggy cams throughout the facility provide you with numerous views to watch your dog play, online.
Staff are trained to be "pack leaders" to enable them to safely and effectively work with large groups of dogs. Dogs in attendance quickly learn to respect this role so that they can play without anxiety or stress. Squirt bottles and time outs are also used to correct unwanted behavior. (Constant conversations are had with clients, at pick up, so you always know how your dogs day went!)
